AviatorTees.com is an online resource for lovers of aviation to obtain clothing focusing on airplanes, helicopters, space, pilot gear, funny aviation, and anything else related to aerospace. Our website is a centralized, e-commerce solution for everyone, including (but not limited to) the following types of people: Airplane Fans, Helicopter Fans, Space Fans, Commercial Pilots, Military Pilots, Recreational Pilots, Airshow Fans, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Army, Navy, Engineers, Mechanics, Smoke Jumpers, Etc.

AviatorTees.com is dedicated to providing aerophiles (lovers of aviation) with customized clothing that expresses their love of aviation. Our privately-funded company is based in Manhattan Beach, California.

Our Story

Many people move to Southern California to pursue their dream of becoming Hollywood actors and models.  Since we were not handsome enough to become either, we were forced to take jobs as engineers to pursue our dreams of changing the world through science and innovation.

After several years of working for the top aerospace and oil companies such as Boeing, Northrop Grumman, ConocoPhillips, and Chevron, we realized that there was a large demand for aviation apparel. We figured that we could boost people's interest in aircraft, spacecraft, flying, and engineering, by creating clothing with these themes. Because Google's search results for aviation apparel listed many ambiguous websites, we quickly saw an opportunity to improve the e-commerce experience in the niche aviation clothing market. Thus, aviatortees.com was born. Our goal is not only to become the aviation clothing tycoons on the internet, but also to get aviation lovers (like ourselves) to help us advocate the importance of aerospace innovation and how it has shaped the world we live in today by wearing our products.

Making It Happen

AviatorTees.com was developed by us, Jon Navarro and Tim Fellin. Everything you see on the website (webpages, t-shirts designs, Aviator Tees logo, etc.) was built and designed by the both of us. Nothing is outsourced and we currently process all customer orders ourselves.

We met at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign while studying engineering. This is our first e-commerce project for our mother company, Booster Clothing. We like to keep things simple and fun, and that has been our main focus from the beginning of the AviatorTees.com project. We do realize that there are many things we can do to improve this website so we plan to continously update it in order to make it even cooler.
